Christine's talent and love for music began at a very young age - for her 2nd birthday, Christine's grandparents gave her a toy piano, which she immediately took to "playing".
Christine has studied piano since the age of six, with Ms. Carol Wipke, Dr. Richard Hannon, and Ms. Anne Nagle. Currently she helps accompany choir rehearsals, and accompany solo singers at local competitions.
During high school, Christine was a singer with the St. Louis Children's Choir, and the Marquette High School Concert Choir and Chamber Choir.
While attending Marquette, Christine was chosen to participate in the Missouri All State Choir her junior and senior years - the first junior ever from Marquette High School to receive such an honor.
In all of her singing career Christine has had the opportunity to participate in multiple concerts and competitions, traveling to over 15 different U.S. cities, and performing in Europe on three separate occasions.
Christine has performed in many recitals, including a solo vocal recital in February of 2005 as a benefit to Friends of Kids with Cancer, where $500 was raised!
Christine's latest recital was June 20, 2009, which was a benefit concert for the music ministry program at First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood.
In her free time, Christine enjoys reading, cooking, playing with her cats, and salsa dancing.
